Those claiming immunity to the elegant rage of the European progressive house resurgence are clearly yet to come across enigmatic London duo, Third Party. Mustering the invaluable support of Steve Angello for "Release", the song that would later become their Size Records debut, the globe proved as equally taken by their strong-willed production values for the enigmatic follow-up "Duel" as the head honcho of their now permanent musical abode. Taking on Electronic luminaries Cicada for 'Feel' and making the familiar reverie of Red Hot Chilli Pepper's 'Otherside' their own with a game changing remix, further remix duties for Swedish House Mafia's 'Save The World' as well as Steve Angello and Alex Metric's 'Open Your Eyes' have established them as an outfit of wide ranging ambition and unlimited capabilities to match.

Berlin-born DJ, producer and label owner Ben Klock is one of the biggest players in Techno's recent history. A resident at Berghain since its opening in 2004, his sets are characterised by their hypnotic, deep and heavy grooves. With releases on Ostgut Ton and his own label Klockworks, Ben Klock's productions have seen him rise to the frontline of electronic music over the last few years. Through his debut album, One, and remixes for artistes like Kerri Chandler, Martyn and Depeche Mode, Ben Klock's name has since become synonymous with the revitalisation of Techno as we know it.

Argentinean duo Heatbeat have smashed into the global EDM scene over the past five years with their cutting edge, futuristic sound, fusing multiple genres to create a new Trance-based sound for the future. Signed to the legendary Armada Recordings, their productions such as 'Extra Bacon' 'Rocker Monster' and 'Roses Never Cry' have been topping download charts and playlists worldwide, picking up plays from a diverse range of DJs from Armin Van Buuren & Paul van Dyk to Porter Robinson.

Having always had a soft spot for old school hip-hop artistes, Fritz was first infected by the Techno virus in 1997 when his famous brother, Paul Kalkbrenner, and counterpart Sascha Funke smuggled Fritz into the legendary Berlin club, Suicide Circus, for his first ever gig. Suitably inspired, Fritz started his own electronic music productions with leftover equipment from his brother. In 2010, his successful debut offering, Here Today Gone Tomorrow, was released to great acclaim, as was his 2012 follow-up album, Sick Travellin', both a standing testament to his knack at intertwining classical songwriting and dreamy dance floor melodies.

Chris Liebing is DJ, producer, radio host of a weekly show and the driving force behind the labels CLR and Spinclub Recordings. His sound has continuously evolved during his DJ-ing career, always staying true to his Techno roots. He was one of the first DJs that used the new possibilities in the course of the digitalisation of music in a consequent and creative way, making him a highly demanded DJ around the world. Chris is also part of the highly successful "Collabs" live act, together with the Dutch producer Speedy J.

With a career that has since spanned a decade, today's Eddie Halliwell is a bona fide superstar who has paved his way through an illustrious Trance journey, placing him near the very top of his heap. Lauded by DJ Mag as "a legend, a hero and a massively popular DJ worshipped by many", the UK-based beat-maker was named Mixmag's DJ of the Year in both 2003 and 2005, a testament to his ability to rock the dance floor with technically- savvy high energy sets that showcase his innate versatility with sounds that range from Trance, Techno, Electro to House.

Oxford lad made good, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (or Orlando Higginbottom to his mum) is the boy wonder who has taken the electronic music scene by storm since he joined the circuit. Having built the TEED name from ground up largely via the Greco-Roman label back in 2009, Orlando has been keeping the punters tuned in with his unique strain of genre-bending Electronic-Pop fused with Garage and Two-Step influences, booking shows at Global Gathering, Bestival and reeling in remixes for the likes of Friendly Fires, Lady Gaga and Professor Green.

This fantastic indie triple-bill held at Zouk will feature three very diverse acts and styles live on stage. Expect a high energy opening with Singapore's very own pop-rock band Shelves who will be belting their powerful pop tracks with soaring guitars as they sing with heart-on-sleeve sincerity. Their cathartic and uplifting melodies are reminiscent of early 1990s scuzzy-fuzzy American collegiate rock and feel-good sentiments. Surf-rockers Wavves from California will then thrill clubbers with their grungey sound and punk stylings. Experimental Icelandic band Múm close the concert with their haunting compositions featuring both acoustic and electronic instrumentation that recalls the lushness of Sigur Rós.

Award-winning Ferry Corsten, someone who can easily be referred to as the DJ's DJ, has taken this advice to heart and emerged as one of the most prominent Dutch jocks in the world. It ain't slow and deep, it's just full-on, hands-in-the-air, epic tunes from the get-go; capable of disarming the most hardened cynics in attendance! If you like artistes like Nicky Romero, Alesso, Arty, Norman Doray and Tim Mason, you'll Be right at home here, alongside the music and other elements that FORMATIVE will specially handpick himself to spice up the night. Local support comes from the very talented and up-and-coming Chris B; FORMATIVE's charismatic mentee, pumping House music-loving deck wizard and a name to watch in the future, for sure!

Arguably one of the finest and most respected House, Funk and Soul DJs in the world today, Norman Jay's talents have now seen him rightfully acknowledged by the highest authority in the UK with an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) awarded on merit for "DJ-ing and services to music" in 2002 - a fitting tribute in recognition of Norman's many outstanding musical achievements and invaluable contributions to music in a career spanning well over two decades.

This is the night that unites all indie music lovers, with tunes from The xx, Arcade Fire, Two Door Cinema Club amongst other aural gems, and the occasional surprises of soundbites from iconic movies from the 80s & 90s. A night not to be missed for all "hipsters"! Come early because we predict a riot (of colours and shapes being thrown about) on the dance floor!
