Zouk
As one of the two head honchos behind the Kitsuné label, Gildas Loaec is the Frenchman whose stellar work began within the humble walls of a Parisian record store he started. Since then, he's gone on to set up his own label, ushering in the sounds of acts such as Digitalism, Simian Mobile Disco, Boys Noize and Delphic via Kitsuné and establishing himself as one of the pre-eminent taste-makers of our sonicscape -- a quality that he will well embody from behind the decks.
Few can bring the glitz to dance floors like Jerry Bouthier. Having worked the music for the catwalks of Vivienne Westwood, Matthew Williamson and Jonathan Saunders, Jerry Bouthier's fine blend of electro, disco, rock and Balearic beats was best fleshed out in his releases like the Kitsuné-BoomBox and Kitsuné-Ponystep compilations. Having brought his craft to Barcelona, Milan, Berlin and more, the native Parisian's aural administration at Zouk will get you going to just the right groove.
