Knowing what a great track should sound like - and the place it can be taken by warping and twisting it - is James Zabiela's (#94 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll 2011) forte. Layering different sounds with the aid of two Pioneer CDJ-2000s, a Pioneer EFX-1000, Korg Kaossilator, MIDI controller, a laptop, and iPad or whatever he can lay his hands on, his limbs and ears don't let up for a second, leaving any punters feet a-moving and mouth agape. Zabiela's demands for such a kit wherever he spins is a reminder that he's one of the scant few DJs who's pushing things forward in recent times.
Warming up for James will be the up-and-coming, London-born and bred beatsmith, George FitzGerald who's been creating a storm of late with outstanding releases (that combine both the warmer, melodic sides of House and Garage with the more heated, pounding drum patterns of Dubstep and Techno) on Hotflush, Aus, and his own imprint, ManMakeMusic.

What first was Future Bound; Now is Found
Returning back to where it all began, Velvet Underground-Dance, Midnight Shift presents an extraordinary line-up of musical and art-bent guests found making all the right waves this moment.
Opening the ceremonies of the night is Zouk's first resident to ever play a first record for the dance floor -- respected veteran Jeremy Boon. He will be guiding the night with his light in the space that he helped build. A local phenomenon that must be-seen-to-be-believed, one-man band Hafez Masterpiece will be joined for the first time with a mystery female guest vocalist for their hotly tipped duet debut. This edition will also be the unveiling of Midnight Shift label artist and performer Eddie Niguel, whose remix of Patrice Baumel's 'Roar' on Berlin's Get Physical label became a hit single in the electronic scene, including #1 Juno Best Seller in the Techno Chart.
Not much shall be revealed at all about the International Mystery Guest. All that will be said is that he is one of the Top 20 Live Acts of 2011 as recorded by Resident Advisor, who will be showing his musical prowess with both a Live and DJ set for his Singapore debut.
