A vinyl junkie since his teens, Ali B grew up on early funk, James Brown and hip hop. While everyone started getting into the rave scene, he discovered acid jazz, and was doing Fridays at The Blue Note by the age of 19. Greatly influenced by Norman Jay's open-mindedness to music, he went on to score a gig at London's Fabric's opening press night, and has since been the resident at the club, hardly missing a night. And being able to play in all 3 rooms at Fabric, his sets are a cross section of breaks, twisted electro and house.
