Rotterdam's Michel de Hey came into the scene as early as '86 with his first recording release 'Break' which entered the Top 10 of the US Billboard Dance Charts. Since then, Michel has been developing a funky sound, fusing house and techno, and winning several awards along the way, including Best Techno DJ of the Netherlands for 3 years. Besides DJing, Michel has also churned out a barrage of floor fillers and techno gems over the years; collaborated with the likes of Mr C, Grooveyard and Secret Cinema; compiled a dozen over mixed CDs, most notably the 'Essential Elements' series (EDM) - the longest running Dutch dance compilation series since '91; and collaborated with Secret Cinema to produced 'Sounds from the Valley' - this year's theme song for Amsterdam's massive Dance Valley festival. The techno movement continues!
