The Gala Premiere of Red Bull’s Art of Can
The Art of Can is Red Bull’s most prestigious art event since 1997. Previously held in Austria, Germany, Holland, United Kingdom, South Africa and the US, this year marks the first time it’s taking place in Singapore. To mark this inaugural event is the Gala Premiere which is an exhibition featuring creative masterpieces made by Singaporean artists, inspired by Red Bull cans.

Just 3 days away and with invitations for myself, Jye and friends we’ll be slinking around the exhibit, with no need for snooping like I mentioned in my first blog post and ooh-ing and aah-ing at the 56 pieces that made it through for public viewing! Most importantly - Are we one of them? HELL YEAH! That was good enough as winning for me.
Yes this will be a dressy Modern Chic event, but I can sleep knowing that this won’t be yet another nose in the air event where everyone stands like furniture waiting to be acknowledged. Have you been to a Red Bull event? Well I’ve been to more than 2 hands and 10 chubby toes can count and not one has ever disappointed me!
So those lucky enough to get your paws on some 2nd July invitations get ready to wine and dine Red Bull style. If you can’t make it, don’t fret Red Bull always pulls another little number from out its sleeve and never lets anyone miss out on any Red Bull fun. There will be an AFTER-PARTY held at none other than *drum roll* Zouk from 11pm to 1am.

If you want to get a closer inspection of the pieces from 3 July to 11 July 2010, 11am to 7pm its located at the Gallery on the 5th Level within *SCAPE, the exhibition is open to the general public and entry is free.
When in doubt just drink a Red Bull!
